Savishkar, An innovative and Futuristic Approaches in Science & Technology-iFAST is a three days National Exhibition and Symposium based on Science & Technology conducted for the graduate and postgraduate students of Science, Engineering and Technology, Organised at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. It provides common platform to budding Scientist & Engineers to showcase their unparalleled talents, and innovation to the world. The program will be taken part by the best brains of India from 200 premier institutes with more than 400 Projects by nearly 2000 students from Science & Engineering background.
M.P. Council of Science & Technology was established under MP Society Registration Act, 1973 in October, 1981. Apex body of the Council is a General Body and Chief Minister is the President of General Body. MPCST was established to initiate, support, promote and co-ordinate research and development projects to the achievement of specific objectives and problems and assist in the fruitful exploitation of the natural resources of the state through various institutions and organizations in the state.
Vidhyarthi Kalyan Nyas (VKN) is active in the activities of developing students character - individual and National sense of discipline and pride in Bhartiya culture and heritage. It aspires to ignite the young minds for attaining greater heights of achievements as an individual as well as a Nation.
MANIT previously known as MACT started functioning in 1960 at Govt S.V. Polytechnic with an intake of 120 students and seven faculty members. MANIT offers various UG and PG courses and Research programmes. The Institute is successfully meeting the objective of producing skilled manpower of the highest quality who are able to cope up with challenges of ever evolving industrial needs of the country.
The Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CGCST) was established in Jan-2001 under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology, Government of Chhattisgarh. It is an autonomous body, which has been registered under the M.P Societies Registration Act 1973. It is designed to initiate, support, promote and co-ordinate Research and Development projects to promote the utilization of Science and Technology for the achievement of socio-economic development objectives.
A National forum of student's activities was formalized and registered on the 9th July, 1949, in the form of a student organization – The AKHIL BHARATIYA VIDYARTHI PARISHAD (ABVP). This student organization, which has immense faith in the latent strength of the entire educational fraternity, believes in coordinating and directing contemporaneous responsibilities of students towards constructive activities, staying above partisan politics and looking at every issue with a progressive lens. The ABVP strongly favours placing to the student, the idea of the keeping the Nation above everything else.
